Bad Bypass Valve Appears to be a quality whole house water filter at a very reasonable price. Built much better than ones I have used from big box stores.Update: after starting to install I noticed the bypass valve would not turn . This appears to be a common issue based on other reviews. I returned and will try the Culligan version- fingers crossed.
Best second online before soft water systems. Easy to see through and service. Easy as pie, clean no leaks. Tip I used glue and go PVC as you see. The fittings were glued to the filter without tape. If a mistake is made you can undue with a pipe wrench, reassembling with no leak.
A good quality water filter. My wife and I recently bought a house and installed 2 of these filter housings while redoing some of the plumbing in the house. The housings installed easy into our plumbing and they are working as youâd expect it to. We were able to save a few dollars on each one by using this one over the Culligan brand version. It appears to be of the same quality as well. If I ever need to buy another Iâd definitely consider buying another one.
