>1st stage: high-grade 10 inch high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter -removes dust, particles, and rust. 100% pure polypropylene depth filter with exceptional dirt-holding capacity translates to longer life and fewer change-outs than existing string-wound or resin-bonded filters.
>2nd stage: premium extruded carbon block 10 inch -gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes vocs and other common chemicals from the water.

High Quality, Good Instructions, Heavy To Handle, Large Volume Flow We liked the high quality, substantial nature of the WFS-1000. Instructions are very good. When canisters are full the unit is heavy and harder to handle. Water flow is large with no pressure loss. We wanted to keep our existing brushed nickel faucet so we installed to existing tubing from old unit using Sharkbite push to connect polypropylene couplings. We made sure we installed plenty of tubing so we can move the unit to the front of cabinet or out onto floor for filter change. See…
Great filtering system. I left my Brita filter installed so we could compare with this WFS-1000 system. WOW! I’m impressed!!The Look and Taste was impressive .. After running this system till most of the bubbles were gone. I got a half glass of Brita filtered water and a half of glass of WFS-1000 filtered water.
