Perfect for 3 filter setup modified for guages. The housings are cheap and perfect for what I used them for:I bought 3 of these and modified them by adding gauges to the top of the housing. Gauges are the only reasonable way to tell when the filters need replacing.I started by realigning the top bracket with the pressure relief valve (picture 1 and 2).That gave me a good template on the opposite side to drill a 7/16 hole (use a drill press to get a straight hole – picture 3).Use a 1/4 npt tap…
Great Product I bought three of these and ran them in-line. I have very heavy iron in my water and these do a great job filtering it out. I have a 15 micron filter first, then a 5 micron, then a carbon filter last. (See the photo of how I plumbed them that is with the images of this product)
Remove instructions Works well. However, be sure to open up the unit and remove the instructions that are wrapped around the cartilage before putting it in service. Ask me how I know.
