Pressure Loss This is a well constructed water filter system. My son and I (mostly my son) installed it easily. My only concern is the loss of pressure. I live on a well in SW Florida and the water has a very high PH level, and high concentrations of solids. Our pressure tank goes from 60lbs and the pump kicks on at the 40lbs level. Running on a well I am on a well with a small pressure dose. I have mild hard water stains in toilets I clean all the time. Great filtration at a great price Overall I like the product a lot and we have much cleaner and better tasting water than before. Our water hardness rating was an 8 before using this system. My clothes always smelled after coming out of the washing machine (even if we removed the clothes immediately) and the dishes in the dish washer were often oily still and our dishes were being destroyed from the hard water.All of those problems have completely subsided.
