False advertising – Be Aware! Purchased these based on the advertising on the Amazon website, but it does NOT list any contaminates on the actual Performance Data Sheet except chlorine taste and odor! Compare the Performance Data Sheet with the original GE filter which lists a number of contaminants removed including lead. You can click on the highlighted area for the manual to see the pdf sheet for each product. Be aware, you are not getting a filter âequivalentâ to the GE filter! First cartridge only lasted two months GE brand cartridges are expensive but they typically last for almost a year so they are worth every penny vs the generic brands. As is our habit, when the last GE cartridge was installed, we ordered another set of GE MWF water filters but what we didn’t realize was the cartridges that displayed were from Pureline not GE. Filter says 300 Gallons, not 400 Gallons as stated in the listing description I just recently installed the filter, so I can’t review about how it performs, however, the reason I selected this over some of the others was that the listing states “each water filter can purify at least 400 gallons of water, so you wonât have to replace them often! ” I was disappointed when I received them and on the filter it states that it filters 300 gallons. I could have selected a number of other filters that stated 300 gallons/filter, and many of them were less money.
