Awesome water filter, great for emergency preparedness, hiking, etc. I camping a lot, I have used it many times, I can tell you right now that this really works. It filters very well and the water taste like bottled water after you prime it and spit out first sip or two. Itâs well built, compact, and very light weight to carry. My friend bought the same one and uses it regularly on long hikes. By the way, after use, you need to make sure when you use it to blow out through the straw and then let it dry a little before replacing the to prevent mold or mildew.
Thirsty in Rocky Mtn Natâl Pk What a huge disappointment! We primed these bottles and filled them for our lengthy hike at Rocky Mountain National Park. One worked okay at first and then we were unable to get any water out. We finally resorted to taking the lid off & rationing the two bottles of water on a 7-mile hike. Not good. There was so much beautiful flowing water around us and we were unable to purify & drink it from these bottles.
My favorite filteration water bottle I have a Lifestraw and the refill prices just got ridiculous. Fortunately, I found this superior product. There are several things I like better. It doesn’t leak for one. Secondly, the design is well thought out as the straw has a snap cover, so your dirty fingers are never touching where you drink from.
