New replacement filter model has major flaws. Water bypasses filter. *See photos. I have been through several of the original filter models and have been happy enough with the results. The water tasted good.Apparently the company has updated the filter design.Big problem.The water bypasses the filter. The new filter insert visibly doesnât make a seal around the edges. This is also visibly evident with how much faster the water flows through from the top to the bottom. Itâs also evident in the taste of raw chemical tap water…
Filters so poorly I might as well not use a water filter at all I am very disappointed in this item and would not order it ever again. I generally don’t take time to leave reviews but these water filters were so bad I want to help any one to avoid making the same mistake I did in purchasing these. I chose them because they said “Amazon’s Choice” and I will not base my purchase on that ever again. I have the Soma Water Carafe which the product page said works for that but the filters do not click in they slide out when you are pouring water unless you hold…
Buy from Somaâs site – these donât work I tried all the tips in the booklet and from Soma, but these filters continued to drip S L O W L Y. It would take an hour to get through one reservoir!!! I feel like these are probably not legitimate Soma filters because they just donât work. Iâm definitely planning on ordering through Somaâs site only in the future. Huge waste of time and money.
