Read the review and leave comments or questions I will start by saying I am very observant to quality products, or the lack their of. So let us start with my first impressions upon opening the filter. The housings for the filters seemed to be pretty beefy, rather hard to get threaded but good feel to that part.of the filter. I may up grade to the bigger storage tank in the future. I spoke with apec customer service and found them.to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Well spoken and friendly, willing to spend as much time as needed to answer all my questions. I was impressed with Jennifer, the girl I had spoken with. That is a very big plus for me. Apec is a good American company, I am glad to be able to support them. I will update from time to time and try and answer people’s questions.So far the filter and faucet work flawlessly. Great RO System This is our 2nd APEC RO system. We recently bought a new home and decided to buy new RO system instead of reinstalling the old one. When purchasing the new system, we opted for the High Output Fast Flow version (old system was the basic system). Well worth the money for the faster flow, especially for times when we are filling our coffee pot or water pitchers. There is no sacrifice of performance for the Fast Flow version. We are getting 7 PPM of TDS out of the new RO system from our 145 PPM of TDS tap water. This level of TDS reduction performance is inline with our old system. Purchased through Amazon instead of direct through the manufacture because it came with free shipping and Amazon’s excellent support.
Highly recommend if you drink lots of water. I am 100% pleased with this APEC Water Systems Ultimate RO-Hi Top Tier Supreme High Output Fast Flow. I think the hardest part was getting the hole drilled for the faucet in my granite counter tops. Since a hole had to be drilled, a 1 3/8″ bit was used to drill out a soap dispenser, air switch for the garbage disposal, RO faucet, and instant hot water heater faucet. Figured I’d do these upgrades all at once when I bought the RO system. That one bit did all of those holes, same size hole/diamond bit. Next hardest was running a line out from the RO to the instant hot water heater (InSinkErator HOT150 Instant Hot Water Dispenser System) run under the house from the kitchen sink to the kitchen island sink. Those things aside, installing the RO system was fairly easy. The instructions were very well written along with a rendering showing what goes where.I have oil rubbed bronze finish on all my plumbing fixtures.
