So Far….So Good. I have had three different whole house water filter systems. Two were the “spin on from the bottom” type and the third looked like a water softener. That third one was an expensive mistake for more reasons than one. In the end, all it did was insert a chemical imbalance into the house water and cause more problems than it solved. Amazing Water Filter! We have a well with very rusty hard water. This, filter is phenomenal for the price. I had trouble finding the replacement cartridges, and am so happy to have found it here on Amazon. In the winter, we went through more more than normal amount of cartridges but we had to leave our water running in each sink and the tub so not to freeze. I have a double wide with no basement. Without that happening it has lasted much longer. The water is so nice and clear with this filter and has saved me…
Great! We decided to use this filter system instead of putting filters on all our faucets to remove the strong chlorine smell from our city water. Found a plumber to do the installation of it. Five months later there was a slight chlorine smell again so I changed the original filter with a backup in about two minutes and all is well again. Works great! (If using for well water I would suggest searching Amazon for a washable water filter and using it as a pre-filter to this one. No reason to clog this…
