Good product, Great customer service!! First, it was not very hard to install. It looks intimidating when you take it out of the box, but if you follow the directions, it’s pretty self explanatory by the diagram alone.. I can say about the filtered water is the quality ice it makes.. I compared the filter water with city water to make ice, and the filtered water is a bit clearer where the city water is a bit cloudier. Another note, we never use to drink tap water, have been drinking bottled spring water for decades. We do feel the filter water taste a lil smoother and fresher than the bottle water.

Mineral filter stopped working System was pretty straightforward to install and didn’t give me much trouble aside from a few of the fasteners were loose so a few hoses weren’t as tight as they could’ve been. The issue is they claim that it adds minerals and increases Ph levels. The Ph levels at first were in the high 11’s, then as time went on (month and a half now since I’ve purchased) the Ph levels dropped to barely above 9. I don’t have an issue with this, however, the “minerals” that were supposed to be in the water ARE NOT. I have a few TDS (total dissolved solids) meters that measure particles in the water at PPM (parts per million). Our tap water (dependent on where you’re located and I’m in Southern California) reads a little above 200ppm, “bad water” is typically 400+ppm and reverse osmosis filtered water (considered “dead water” since it has been filtered of literally just about anything you can find in water) is typically under 50ppm.This water first measured at 150ppm which wasn’t…

Can be harder to install in some kitchens The system is excellent but there are things that should be made clear before you buy. First, if you do not have a generous amount of room under your sink, this system won’t fit. Next, if your sink is not a double basin, then you probably don’t have easy access to connect the waste water line. You might need to buy a dishwasher air gap with an adapter to connect the waste water. Third, if you don’t have a hole in your counter for the little faucet then you will have to drill your granite (or tile or whatever) yourself. Last, the instructions are quite vague on how much to tighten things. The canisters that hold the various filters must be tightened with considerable force.
