The ideal water filter system includes a sediment filter as the first stage to remove the larger particles of dirt or sediment before they can reach and clog your finer filters and appliances. The WSP-Series aims to fill this role by offering the stainless steel mesh in various micron sizes, allowing you to control what size particles are allowed to pass into your home or following filters. This helps prevent large particles of dirt from clogging any finer filters you may already have in place. The WSP also includes a powerful anti-scale and corrosion agent called siliphos. Siliphos is a water treatment compound, a glass-like Polyphosphate containing Sodium, Calcium Magnesium and Silicate, formulated specifically for the treatment of water problems. The 1-inch outlet MNPT fitting provides a maximum 20 GPM flow rate, and the WSP-Series also features 3/4 inch NPT threads on the inlet and outlet. The housing is manufactured with FDA approved grade materials. Specifications: Mesh pore rating: 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000 microns Dry weight: 1 lb. Dimensions: 3. 5″ width x 9″ height Suitable temperature range: 40 – 100 °F Suitable pressure range: 20 – 90 psi

Best sediment screen on the market that I found! I use these filters as a professional installer of water conditioning systems on country wells, the quality is the best in the industry and the metal construction means it will last a lifetime, the backwash is easy to use and works well, I have found that 100-200 micron screens seem to work best on heavy sediment Wells prior to the water softener, otherwise you may have to back flush the screen several times a day using the 50 micron screen on wells with heavy sediment.

Quality Product that’s easy to install and works well enough to pay for itself by extending the life of your cartridge filters! This is a surprisingly “beefy” little unit – heavy duty glass container with heavy brass top and well constructed filter which is fairly easy to clean. Simple and straight-forward installation which was quite easy (they even provided some Teflon Tape!). Overall, I’m very impressed with this unit so far and will buy another for my camp house assuming I’ve encountered no problems after 3 months constant use (only been 40 days since I installed this). I installed this unit ahead of my…

Highest Quality – Performance Beyond Expectations We have Well Water and the amount of lime / calcium was horrible – Hard Water Beyond Belief so we had to come up with a solution ….. We removed the old broken down softener but there was not enough room for our Aquasana System so we moved locations and installed the new $2,000 Water Purification System in the utility room ….. Confusing so far but having a second location for a Pre-Filter we installed the iSpring WSP-SL with 1,000 Micron Screen and we thought we were on the incoming side of…
