To use your personal water filter straw, first prime the filter by soaking it in a bit clean water just before use.
Fill the Boost Bag (for best results remember to choose flowing water as drinking source options). Next, attach the Pre-Filter (with filter disc inserted). Lastly, attach the filter to your purifying straw and gently squeeze the Boost Bag to assist filtration.
Also, keep in mind that laying down near water can be a bad idea, especially in water where hypothermia risks are real, or predators hang out. Using your 30-Inch Survival Tube allows you to sit more upright to stay alert while staying hydrated; and it allows you to siphon directly from more difficult to reach sources.
When finished, use the Syringe to Push Clean water back through the filter and allow to dry. You can also allow your Boost Bag to serve as additional hydration bag storage for quick filtering on the go.
